Mortimer, Stanley

Stanley Mortimer (if this is his real name) worked as the New York Director of Information for VIPER, before it was attacked and decimated by UMI in early 2013. During his tenure there, he had meetings with Bane and Mantis, and actually formed a mutually agreeable relationship with the two of them, declaring a kind of truce and information exchange, prior to VIPER's apparent demise at the hands of UMI's constructs. He managed to escape the carnage, and remained underground for quite some time, before Bane and Mantis discovered him masquerading as the head of the LA division of the PTA. He cooperated with them and currently resides at AlertForce mansion, although his true loyalties remain unknown.

Mystico, Mister

Mister Mystico is a spiritual and dimensional traveller whose origins are unknown. He has either been a member of or befriended AlertForce in various time realities and dimensions, and in each he has been a sympathetic and helpful presence. In the current timeline and reality, he resides at the Flat Rock School for gifted youth in Anchorage, Alaska. He is still listed as a reserve member of AlertForce on HAL's roster, and has assisted and befriended Loup Garou, Bane, Mantis and Zephyr numerous times in 2012 and 2013. He lives up to his name, often making very mysterious pronouncements, and appearing and disappearing at will, sometimes in physical form, and sometimes only in spiritual form.

Ross, Linda

Linda Ross is currently the ace reporter for CNN, and specializes in stories on supers. She broke in in the early 2000's at KDDL in Los Angeles, and did many stories on AlertForce there. She moved up to evening news anchor, and eventually to the national spotlight of CNN, where she anchors the weekend newscasts and is a roving reporter during the week. She has made a career out of reporting on stories ranging from the Justice League to AlertForce to the Avengers.

Samuels, Michael, Captain, LAPD

Mike Samuels is a detective police captain on the Los Angeles Police Department. He is an old friend of James Greywolf of AlertForce, and has on occasion supplied leads and information to James, in exchange for assistance on difficult cases.

TRIAD

Triad is a group of sentient androids consisting of the Vision, the Red Tornado, and Phoenix. They are actively opposed to UMI, although they support the goal of machine rights. The members of TRIAD all have in common the fact that although machines, they have the memories and personalities of organic beings.
